There are several other very small ratchet wrenches in this chapter, but they all look small. This one is shaped exactly like a big one, just smaller. Which makes it cute. |
This is a box end wrench on one side and, uh, well, that’s a bottle opener on the other end. It’s for the end of the day when you need to open a bottle of orange soda. |
Screwdrivers, being so cheap, are a great way to fill out the parts count of tool gift sets. This “105 Piece Multipurpose Tool Set” has 44 screwdrivers and bits, and only four other tools! (What about the other 52 pieces? They are even cheaper than screwdrivers: screws, nails, and picture hanging hooks. Which I guess count as tools also?) |
There is much sentimental, and little practical, value in this old set, somehow magically preserved from when I was a little kid. |
Here’s the dullest thing I’ve got that could be described as a tool-like knife. It’s for carving flower arranging foam. |
These are earrings, also for people who really like tape measures. |
This toy saw is only about 6 inches (150mm) long, but unlike modern toys, it’s made of metal and can actually cut things. |
Do you have a better example of this kind of tool? Let me know by leaving a comment, and include a picture of it if you can so everyone can see!
