This pen and tape measure set belonged to my mother, and was on her desk for as long as I can remember, quite possibly since before I was born. It’s solid brass, quite heavy, and triggers fond memories of picking it up and just feeling the weight and the solid fit of the head into the turtle’s body as the tape retracts.
