This is not a spring clamp in the sense that its purpose is not to hold things together. But it’s so beautiful I put it here anyway. It is a welder’s ground clamp, used to complete the electrical circuit through a piece of steel being joined by a stick welder. This explains the pound of solid electrical brass used in its construction.
